6 years agoThe Los Angeles Angels have promoted Jeremy Reed to their new hitting coach. Reed will replace Eric Hinske. Reed was a minor league hitting coordinator last season, and was mentioned by Kole Calhoun and Francisco Arcia as a big help to them rebuilding their swings. Prior to joining LA, Reed had been a hitting coach for three seasons in the Brewers system. He will look to help a team with Mike Trout, Albert Pujols, Shohei Ohtani and Justin Upton get to the top of the AL West next season.--patton
