6 years agoAtlanta Falcons tight end Austin Hooper could be in line for a tough day against the Washington Redskins in Week 9. The Redskins rank 21st in terms of fantasy points surrendered to tight ends, with opponents scoring an average of just 9.17 fantasy points. Hooper had two nice outings in Week 5 & 6, but both of those came against extremely bad defenses when facing the tight end. In Week 7, he faced a defense in the New York Giants who are slightly better against the tight end than the Redskins and he had just 48 yards on three receptions. Those numbers are not a good sign for Hooper this week and if you can avoid starting him then Hooper should be on your bench this week.--Ben Rolfe
