6 years agoWashington Wizards forward Kelly Oubre Jr. scored 14 points, grabbed four rebounds and blocked two shots over 33 minutes in Friday's loss. He shot just 6-for-17 from the field and 0-for-6 from beyond the arc. The game marked his most shot attempts this year and his second most minutes. The versatile third-year pro received extended minutes as a result of Otto Porter being limited due to his injured toe. Oubre now has double-digit field-goal attempts in six straight games and he has gotten up five or more three-point attempts in five consecutive contests. The 22-year-old will look to match his season-high streak of three straight double-digit scoring nights against the Knicks on Sunday.--Daniel Benjamin
