FanDuel DFS Guards
Derrick Rose - PG, MIN @ LAL (FD - $5,500)
Rose should be getting the start again tonight since Jeff Teague is likely to be out again, making Rose a bit of a value play. He comes in with a usage rate at 31% when Teague is off the court, which is a team high. Yes, that usage is higher than Jimmy Butler's usage, but the story with him on or off the court is an entirely different discussion. We don't have an over-under as of now, but we should be looking at one on the higher end of things, which means plenty of offense to go around.
Buddy Hield - SG, SAC vs TOR (FD - $7,700)
Hield is averaging 14 field goal attempts per game this season, meaning the ball is in his hands' plenty and brings plenty of upside due to the potential scoring. The matchup is middle of the pack for Hield, as he is up against the Raptors, who are giving up 39 FanDuel points per game to shooting guards this season. He should good for either format tonight and has posted 22 or more real points in five of his last six games.
FanDuel DFS Forwards
Paul George - SF, OKC @ CLE (FD - $10,200)
We know that Russell Westbrook will be out for this game, so we will see plenty of extra usage go towards George, thus making him a core player for tonight. He sees a 4.7% increase in his usage overall, for a total of 34.7% when Westbrook is off the court this season. He is also averaging 1.21 fantasy points per minute this season when Westbrook is off the court, given him a solid floor along with some nice upside. The matchup is great, as he is up against the Cavaliers, who are giving up 42 FanDuel points per game to small forwards.
Jaren Jackson Jr. - PF, MEM vs DEN (FD - $5,900)
Jackson has been impressing as a rookie so far this season, coming in averaging 1.00 fantasy point per minute. We don't often see that from rookies who are big men, but he is doing it almost nightly and with his very modest price, we want to capture that before his price gets any higher. He played 32 minutes in his most recent game, which was a season-high and hopefully a sign of more minutes to come. Jackson is a better cash game option tonight since we want a bit of a higher paced game for GPPs.
FanDuel DFS Centers
Julius Randle - C, NO vs CHI (FD - $7,200)
Randle is looking good right now, as he has posted 40 FanDuel points or more in three of his last five games and now has one of the best matchups on the entire slate. He is facing off against Chicago tonight, who looks like they decided not to play defense this season. That's fine by me, just means we to target players against the Bulls anytime they are on the slate since they are giving up 60 FanDuel points per game to centers. Randle is averaging 1.37 fantasy points per minute this season and should be able to feast tonight with this matchup.
