6 years agoCharlotte Hornets small forward Michael Kidd-Gilchrist entered Friday night's game against the Philadelphia needing just five rebounds to move up on the franchise's all-time list. He nabbed his fifth board of the evening with 3:23 left in the third quarter, moving past Basketball Hall of Fame member Alonzo Mourning and into fifth-place on the Hornets' list. It is nice to see Kidd-Gilchrist, who posted his first double-double of the season in the game, get some recognition as he has been much-maligned since being selected with the second overall pick in the 2012 draft. Solid rebounding, single-to-low double-digit scoring as well as few assists are what fantasy owners can expect from the Kentucky product going forward.--Daniel Benjamin
