Wesley Matthews Nonexistent In Saturday's Win
6 years agoDallas Mavericks guard/forward Wesley Matthews showed more importance on the court rather than on the stat sheet in Saturday's win over the Oklahoma City Thunder. Matthews scored just nine points on 3-for-7 shooting while adding four assists in 31 minutes. All of his makes were three-pointers as Matthews has been firing from long range all season. However, after a blistering start to the season and four straight 20-point games, Matthews has been inconsistent in his scoring output in his past six games. Matthews is as hot and cold as it gets, but it is difficult to find better scoring and threes on the wire in most leagues. Matthews will have a good chance to get hot against the Chicago Bulls on Monday, who gave up an NBA-record 14 threes to Klay Thompson not too long ago.
