6 years agoBrooklyn Nets small/power forward Rondae Hollis-Jefferson served as the team’s de facto starting center during Monday’s loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves. With center Jarrett Allen sidelined due to illness, Hollis-Jefferson scored 14 points, grabbed six rebounds, and added five assists, three steals and a block across 27 minutes. Hollis-Jefferson started for the first this season Monday, so keep an eye out heading into Wednesday’s game against the Miami Heat to see if he can shake the rust off his slow start to 2018-19, as he can still provide value in multiple categories when receiving sufficient minutes either as a starter or reserve.--Jesse Borek
