6 years agoSan Antonio Spurs power forward/center LaMarcus Aldridge was held in check during Wednesday’s loss to the Phoenix Suns. Aldridge finished with six points on 3-for-12 shooting, continuing his troubling trend from the field to begin the year. He entered play Wednesday at just 43.6 percent overall on the year, the lowest mark of his 13-year career. After his previous six-point performance this season, he responded with a 27-point, 10-rebound effort, so even though it comes on a back-to-back, Aldridge faces a favorable matchup with the Los Angeles Clippers on Thursday.--Jesse Borek
