6 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves small forward Robert Covington wasn't given any time to settle in on his new team, as he ended up logging a team-high 41 minutes in Wednesday's 107-100 win over New Orleans. He had 13 points in his debut, shooting 4-for-11 from the field and 3-for-7 from downtown. Covington also picked up seven rebounds, a couple of steals and one block. He fills pretty much the same role for the Wolves as he did for the Sixers, so Covington won't need an adjustment period and he'll be counted on right from the off. Head coach Tom Thibodeau really likes workhorses who can log 40-plus minutes a night.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
