6 years agoPhiladelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid said after Friday’s game against the Utah Jazz that the swollen hand he is dealing with will not keep him from playing Saturday against the Charlotte Hornets. The big man dealt with foul trouble during Friday’s win, but he’s now past the back-to-back restriction he faced last season. Under normal circumstances, Embiid would be a strong DFS play on paper as the Hornets allow the sixth-most points in the league to opposing centers, but at his enormous price -- when combined with his swollen hand -- he’s worth monitoring ahead of play tomorrow night.--Jesse Borek
