6 years agoNew Orleans Pelicans power forward/center Nikola Mirotic continued his breakout campaign Saturday against the Denver Nuggets, going for 20 points and 10 rebounds while also adding a season-high three blocked shots. Mirotic is currently on an All-Star pace, making him one of the league’s true draft-day steals. After shooting just 42.7 percent from the field for New Orleans down the stretch last season, Mirotic is on pace for a new career high, as he has hit 47.9 percent of his attempts this year.--Jesse Borek
