6 years agoGolden State Warriors small forward Kevin Durant finished Saturday’s loss to the Dallas Mavericks with 32 points, unable to add a bucket in the closing minutes to put his team ahead. With Stephen Curry absent from the fold, Durant remains the focal point of the offense and he asserted himself to the tune of 24 shots Saturday. He added four rebounds and three assists, and while his team came away with the loss, the increased shots and opportunities for Durant owners are welcome as long as Curry is on the shelf.--Jesse Borek
