Klay Thompson Scores 22 Points, Cold From Long Range
6 years agoGolden State Warriors shooting guard Klay Thompson scored 22 points during Saturday’s loss to the Dallas Mavericks. In order to get those 22 points, Thompson went 9-for-24 from the field and 2-for-11 from three-point range, once again absorbing the shot attempts up for grabs in the absence of Stephen Curry. There’s little reason to believe Thompson won’t continue to fill the void without Curry, much like there’s little reason to doubt Thompson turning it around from deep. His percentage from long range (32.5) won’t get the four-time All-Star to stop shooting.
