Tevin Coleman A Tough Option To Trust Thursday
6 years agoAtlanta Falcons running back Tevin Coleman is a tough option to trust when he squares off against the New Orleans Saints on Thursday. Coleman struggled in his first matchup against the Saints this season, carrying the ball 15 times for 33 yards and adding two receptions, on three targets, for 14 yards and a touchdown. In addition, the Saints rank fifth against running backs when it comes to fantasy points allowed. On average the Saints are allowing an average of 54.8 rushing yards, 41.6 receiving yards and a total of 0.8 touchdowns per game to opposing running backs. In fact this season the Saints are allowing an average of 13.5 fantasy points against opposing lead backs this season. Coleman should see the majority of the carries but the way this game could shape up could see Coleman struggling to receive more than 15 touches, limiting his value to a running back #2 at best.
