6 years agoSan Antonio Spurs power forward LaMarcus Aldridge missed a last-second 26-foot at the buzzer in Wednesday's loss to the Grizzlies. Aldridge, who thought he was fouled on the play, finished the game 6-for-20 from the field. Still, he posted his ninth double-double of the campaign with 19 points along with 11 rebounds, one block and four assists in 41 minutes. The 33-year-old's scoring production has been up-and-down this month as he has not found consistency with his shooting stroke. Aldridge, who has totaled 66 points in his last five games, is shooting only 32.4 percent from the field during this stretch. The 13th-year pro will look to extend his streak of double-digit rebounds to nine straight games against the Pacers on Friday. Aldridge compiled 15 points, although he missed 13 of his 18 shots from the field, and 13 rebounds against the Pacers earlier this season.--Daniel Benjamin
