Rudy Gay Turns In Highest Scoring Performance Of Season
6 years agoSan Antonio Spurs small forward Rudy Gay scored a season-high 21 points on 7-for-10 shooting from the floor in Wednesday's loss to the Grizzlies. The 32-year-old wing also grabbed eight rebounds, doled out an assist, blocked a shot as well as came up with a steal. He went 6-for-6 from the charity stripe, meaning that he has now made 16 of 17 free throws over his last four games. Gay, who is averaging 16.0 points in November, will look to extend his double-figure scoring streak to six straight games in a tough matchup against the Pacers on Friday. The 32-year-old produced 11 points and 10 rebounds in an earlier meeting against the Pacers, who have done a pretty good job shutting down opposing small forwards over the last five games.
