6 years agoNew York Knicks shooting guard Allonzo Trier was on fire from the floor during Friday’s win over the New Orleans Pelicans. The rookie wing reached a new career-high 25 points on just 9-for-12 shooting, knocking down all three triples he attempted (also a season high). He logged 34 minutes after averaging 14.2 over his last three games, continuing the seesaw exercise of gauging who will receive minutes for New York on a nightly basis. With performances like Friday, it’ll be hard to keep him off the floor going forward.--Jesse Borek
