Kent Bazemore Questionable For Sunday
6 years agoAtlanta Hawks shooting guard/small forward Kent Bazemore (ankle) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Hornets. The 6-foot-5 wing tweaked his left ankle on Friday night and did not return. With the Hawks struggling and coach Lloyd Price previously talking about his 12-13 man rotation this may be a perfect time for the team to get some minutes for other guys. Bazemore has not scored in double figures in the past three games, which includes going scoreless in 10 minutes versus the Celtics before suffering the injury. If Bazemore is not available to play, Deandre Bembry would likely earn the start while Justin Anderson and Kevin Huerter could get more run as well. Bembry is coming off one of his best games of the season against the Celtics. On the other hand, Anderson is still working his way back from a leg injury that cost him to miss the first 16 games of the season. Anderson scored 12 points in 17 minutes on Friday.
