6 years agoSan Antonio Spurs forward Davis Bertans had a very good outing on Saturday against Milwaukee, scoring 17 points on 6-for-11 shooting in 23 minutes off the bench. He finished 4-for-7 from downtown and also picked up a season-high six rebounds while registering his third consecutive game with at least one steal. Bertans hasn't been used much this season, as he's averaging only 16 minutes per game, but he's shooting close to 46 percent from deep and he certainly impressed head coach Gregg Popovich on Saturday, which could lead to some extra minutes. The Spurs are forced to spread out the minutes a bit more next week with a four-game schedule, which is also good news for the Latvian.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
