Kyrie Irving Drains Five Three-Pointers
6 years agoBoston Celtics point guard Kyrie Irving was fantastic on Monday night as he tallied 26 points, 10 assists, five rebounds, and five steals in a 124-107 win over the Pelicans. He was 10-for-22 from the floor and 5-for-10 from beyond the arc. The double-double was his fourth in the last seven games. While the 26-year-old has been a better distributor lately, his scoring efficiency has taken a hit. Irving has scored 170 points on 149 shots from the field, which equates to 1.14 points per attempt, while shooting 46.9 percent from the field. The eighth-year pro is producing 1.21 points per shot for the season.
