Marcus Smart Plays Season-High 40 Minutes
6 years agoBoston Celtics point guard/shooting guard Marcus Smart tallied eight points, two rebounds, five assists, one block, and a steal over a season-high 40 minutes against the Pelicans on Monday. He was 3-for-8 from the field and 2-for-5 from the three-point line. The 24-year-old made his first start of the season as he replaced Jaylen Brown (back), who was inactive. Depending on how long Brown is out, Smart could become a viable candidate in standard leagues, but as it stands now his only value is in deep leagues.
