Jrue Holiday Commits Eight Turnovers In Loss
6 years agoNew Orleans point guard Jrue Holiday scored 13 points on 4-for-8 shooting, including 1-for-2 from the three-point line, in Monday's loss to the Celtics. He chipped in six rebounds and seven assists along with a season-high eight turnovers. Ball-handling has been an issue for the 28-year-old recently as he has committed at least four turnovers in seven of the last 10 contests, including 27 in the past five outings. The 10th-year vet's 12.7 percent turnover rate is his highest since his rookie season. Holiday will look to bounce back against the Wizards on Wednesday in a tough matchup against John Wall. The UCLA product accumulated 16 points, nine assists and four turnovers in the team's first meeting on Nov. 24.
