6 years agoWashington Wizards power forward/center Markieff Morris continued his excellent play off the bench for his club in Wednesday's loss to the Pelicans. Morris converted 22 points on 9-for-17 shooting from the floor while adding four makes from three with nine boards and a steal in 32 minutes. With the move to the bench and Dwight Howard (back) out, Morris has turned it up with averages of 17.4 points, 8.0 rebounds, 1.4 steals, 0.6 blocks and 2.6 makes from three over his last five games. If he has not been scooped up yet in your league, grab him.--Gianni Costantiello
