Wendell Carter Jr. Scores Just Six Points
6 years agoChicago Bulls power forward/center Wendell Carter Jr. had six points, seven rebounds and three assists in Wednesday's loss to the Bucks. He was 3-for-9 from the field and 0-for-1 from beyond the arc. It was the second straight game that the 6-foot-10 rookie has failed to get to the free throw line, marking the first time that he has not been to the charity stripe in consecutive games since the beginning of the season. The 19-year-old has had foul trouble issues over the last five games, which has limited his minutes and productivity. Carter is averaging just 9.6 points, six boards, and 5.4 fouls in 23.2 minutes during this stretch. While the former Duke star has the potential of producing a double-double on any given night, he is way too inconsistent to at this point to be trusted to be in fantasy owners daily starting lineups.
