Blake Griffin Puts Up 20 Points And 10 Rebounds In Win
6 years agoDetroit Pistons power forward Blake Griffin scored 20 points, grabbed 10 rebounds and doled out five dimes in Friday's victory over the Bulls. He was 7-for-12 from the field and 2-for-4 from beyond the arc as well as 4-for-7 from the charity stripe. It was his fifth double-double in the past seven games. The 29-year-old has attempted at least seven free throws in four of the past five games, before this stretch he hadn't shot that many shots from the charity stripe since Nov. 5. Griffin will look to continue his recent good play, where the ninth-year pro is averaging 26.1 points along with 7.4 rebounds and 5.8 assists while shooting 46.6 percent from the field and 37.5 percent from the three-point line over his last five games, in a tough matchup against the Warriors on Saturday.
