Bam Adebayo Plays Well As Starter Once Again
6 years agoMiami Heat center Bam Adebayo scored 14 points on 7-for-10 shooting from the field in Saturday's victory over the Clippers. He added eight rebounds, four assists, one block, and a steal in 29 minutes. With Hassan Whiteside (personal) missing his second straight game, Adebayo once again stepped up his play. He has scored 36 points and grabbed 18 rebounds the past two games, and is now averaging 15.7 points along with 8.3 rebounds, 2.3 assists, one block, and 1.7 steals in the three games he has started this year. Adebayo is expected to remain in the starting lineup until Whiteside returns and he has an enticing matchup against a Lakers team on Monday that allows the most points and third most rebounds in the league to opposing centers.
