6 years agoWashington Wizards shooting guard Bradley Beal delivered his second double-double of the year during Sunday’s win over the Los Angeles Lakers. In addition to going for 25 points on 10-for-24 shooting, Beal set a new season high (and tied his career high) with 12 rebounds. Not normally known for production in the rebound category -- coming off a one-rebound effort Friday -- Beal is averaging a career-best 4.6 per game this season. He’ll continue to be a high-volume shooter for the Wizards, but he’s not merely a one category pony, and nights like Sunday are a reinforcement to owners.--Jesse Borek
