Lonzo Ball Drills Five Three-Pointers
6 years agoLos Angeles Lakers point guard Lonzo Ball tallied 23 points on 9-for-16 shooting from the field, including 5-for-9 from beyond the arc, in Tuesday's loss to the Nets. The second-year pro added six rebounds, three assists, two steals, and three turnovers before fouling out in 39 minutes. He set season highs in points, field goal makes, field goal attempts, three-point makes, and three-point attempts. It marked the first time that the 21-year-old, Kyle Kuzma, and LeBron James topped the 20-point mark in the same game. Ball, who is averaging 6.1 assists this month, has a solid matchup against the Pelicans on Friday, although he could lose some playing time to Rajon Rondo (hand), who is on track to play in the game.
