6 years agoMemphis Grizzlies center Marc Gasol packed the stat sheet during Wednesday’s loss to the Portland Trail Blazers, finishing with 14 points, nine rebounds, four assists and four steals. But while Gasol continues to put up numbers across other categories, his points have dwindled. After averaging 19.5 points per game in 15 November contests, he is down to just 11.8 in 10 contests during December. After seven games with at least 20 points in November, he has gone 11 straight games without reaching that plateau. He’ll have a chance to snap that streak Friday against the Sacramento Kings, whom he has delivered double-doubles against in both prior meetings this season.--Jesse Borek
