6 years agoOklahoma City Thunder point guard Russell Westbrook finished with 21 points, nine rebounds and nine assists against the Houston Rockets on Christmas Day, narrowly missing out on recording what would have been his fourth triple-double in his past five games. Westbrook’s dominance in the month of December was on display again Tuesday, as he has had just two games all month (out of 12) in which he has recorded fewer than nine rebounds or nine assists in a game. He brings that unparalleled production to the floor Friday against the Phoenix Suns, whom Westbrook has torched in his career to the tune of 26.3 points per game, his second-most against any opponent.--Jesse Borek
