John Wall Goes For 21 Points In Defeat
6 years agoWashington Wizards point guard John Wall dropped 21 points during Wednesday’s loss to the Detroit Pistons, adding eight assists and tying his season high with seven rebounds. But for his third straight contest, his production was buoyed by turnovers (six). By virtue of his role with Washington, Wall is going to continue to see a high usage rate, but his three-point (30.2) and free-throw (69.7) percentage have been down from where it’s been in years past. Owners can keep riding with Wall, as his value has taken a slight hit, along with the fact that he’s the Wizards’ best chance of snapping their slump. He's had three 30-plus-point games in December, along with three absences and two games in single digits.
