Trevor Ariza Ties Season High With Five Made Threes
6 years agoWashington Wizards small/power forward Trevor Ariza tied his season high with five made triples during Wednesday’s defeat at the hands of the Detroit Pistons. Ariza has been launching from long range since his arrival in D.C., putting up 8.2 shots from three-point land per contest. His five makes tie his season-opener total, while also adding five rebounds and three steals Wednesday for an all-around strong night of production. The sample size is small, but Ariza has increased his scoring average by 4.1 points per game since his arrival in Washington, who has needed someone to fill the scoring void left by Otto Porter’s injury for the time being.
