6 years agoNew Orleans Pelicans point/shooting guard Jrue Holiday dropped 25 points during Wednesday’s loss at the hands of the Dallas Mavericks. Holiday’s push toward his second All-Star Game continues, as he added six assists and five rebounds Wednesday, in addition to knocking down a trio of threes. Without Nikola Mirotic on the floor, Holiday has taken an increased initiative to put the ball in the hoop, averaging 22.4 points per game in the month of December. Now familiar with the Dallas defense, he gets another shot to pad his stats Friday when the two squads face off again.--Jesse Borek
