6 years agoChicago Bulls guard Zach LaVine came off the bench and scored 28 points in 25 minutes on Wednesday against Minnesota in what was his first game since Dec. 13. He was out with an ankle problem, and LaVine admitted after the game that it still hurts, but it sure didn't seem to bother him on the night. LaVine shot a very good 10-for-17 from the field, including 3-for-7 from downtown. It was a bit bizarre that he came off the bench, but the Bulls had won two straight, so head coach Jim Boylen likely didn't want to mess with the chemistry. LaVine should be back in the starting unit in no time, and he gets a very juicy matchup next to continue to build momentum, as Bulls take on Washington, who are 28th in defensive efficiency this season.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
