6 years agoLos Angeles Lakers center JaVale McGee will not suit up for Friday’s match-up versus the Los Angeles Clippers due to illness. It will mark McGee’s seventh straight game on the bench and pave the way for Ivica Zubac at the center spot, who has become a fantasy darling in the former’s absence. Having been listed as questionable throughout the day, it appears that McGee could at least be getting close to making his return, so keep an eye out prior to Sunday’s match-up with the Sacramento Kings to see if he can go.--Jesse Borek
