6 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves center Karl-Anthony Towns dominated during Friday’s defeat against the Atlanta Hawks, finishing with 31 points, 19 rebounds, five assists and three blocks in 43 minutes. The minutes logged were a new season high, due in large part to the game reaching overtime, but Towns didn’t look slowed in the slightest. He has feasted the past two contests on the porous defenses of Chicago and Atlanta, but draws a more difficult match-up Sunday against Hassan Whiteside and the Miami Heat.--Jesse Borek
