C.J. McCollum Looks To Top 20 Points Again
6 years agoPortland Trail Blazers shooting guard C.J. McCollum 's scoring has been up-and-down all of December. The 27-year-old, who has been a high-volume scorer throughout his career, pumped in 24 points on 7-for-22 shooting from the field, including 3-for-9 from beyond the arc, in Thursday's win over the Warriors. He was a season-high 7-for-7 from the free throw line. The sixth-year pro added four rebounds, three assists, one block, one steal as well as two turnovers. McCollum has scored at least 20 points in six of his 12 games this month. The sixth-year pro has produced 21.5 points, four assists, three rebounds, three triples and 1.5 steals in two games against the Warriors, who the Blazers face on Saturday, this year despite shooting just 36.6 percent from the field.
