6 years agoDallas Mavericks shooting guard/small forward Wesley Matthews has been deemed unlikely to suit up for Sunday’s contest against the Oklahoma City Thunder due to a right foot injury, head coach Rick Carlisle confirmed Saturday. An absence would mark Matthews’ second straight game in street clothes, leaving Dallas wings Luka Doncic and Harrison Barnes to potentially absorb his shots. Matthews' next chance to suit up will most likely come Monday versus the Thunder when the teams finish off their back-to-back.--Jesse Borek
