6 years agoMemphis Grizzlies center Marc Gasol notched his 13th double-double of the season during Saturday’s loss to the Boston Celtics, but it wasn’t via his conventional points/rebounds method. Gasol finished with 15 points and a season-high 10 assists Saturday, giving him his first points/assists double-double since Jan. 26, 2018. He still managed three rebounds and two steals, but did log six turnovers, which put a damper on his performance. Gasol’s rough month of December comes to a close Monday versus the Houston Rockets, whom he is averaging 6.5 rebounds against per contest over his career, his lowest total versus any opponent.--Jesse Borek
