6 years agoHouston Rockets shooting guard Eric Gordon will be sidelined for Monday’s contest versus the Memphis Grizzlies due to a right knee injury that he suffered during Saturday’s game. Austin Rivers will enter the starting lineup in Gordon’s place, with the Rockets beginning to get awful thin in the backcourt with Chris Paul also on the shelf. James Harden figures to see a lion’s share of the workload and then some with Houston’s third and fourth leading scorers absent. Gordon’s next chance to return comes Thursday versus Golden State.--Jesse Borek
