6 years agoLos Angeles Lakers shooting guard Kentavious Caldwell-Pope poured in a season-high 26 points during 28 minutes off the bench Sunday versus the Sacramento Kings. With LeBron James sidelined, Caldwell-Pope received carte blanche to shoot, and shoot often, as he finished 9-for-21 from the field, including 5-for-13 from deep. Caldwell-Pope is no stranger to setting his season high in scoring versus the Kings, having done so last year with a 34-point showing. While his name continues to swirl on the trade market, he appears to be the Lakers’ go-to man off the bench with James absent, which should earn him a look in some season-long formats.--Jesse Borek
