6 years agoOrlando Magic center Nikola Vucevic finished with just 12 points and five rebounds across 23 minutes during Monday’s blowout loss to the Charlotte Hornets. The nature of the defeat and a calf injury dealt a blow to Vucevic’s minutes total, which should spring back up with a favorable match-up Wednesday versus the Chicago Bulls, should he be able to suit up. Irrespective of the final contest, Vucevic had a dazzling December, collecting doubles-doubles in nine of his 12 contests, now looking to be as much of a fantasy darling in 2019 as he was in late 2018.--Jesse Borek
