6 years agoSan Antonio Spurs power forward/center LaMarcus Aldridge posted his second consecutive 30-plus-point effort Monday versus the Boston Celtics. In what was one of his finer outings all season, Aldridge took on an increased offensive role with Rudy Gay sidelined, leading to 32 points, nine rebounds and tying his season high with five assists. The Spurs’ big man closed out the month averaging 30.3 points per contest over his last four games, looking to carry that into Thursday against the Toronto Raptors, who boast length in the frontcourt.--Jesse Borek
