6 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves point guard Tyus Jones was again thrust into action Monday versus the New Orleans Pelicans due to the absence of both Derrick Rose and Jeff Teague, but Jones recorded his second career double-double and set a new career high with 13 assists to go along with 15 points. Jerryd Bayless saw just 10 minutes off the bench, so if Rose and Teague remain sidelined Wednesday against Boston, season-long owners can safely deploy Jones in the hopes of striking more assist gold. His DFS price will likely have adjusted by then, so beware of both a stingy Boston defensive unit and Jones’ dependency on teammates making shots.--Jesse Borek
