6 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves shooting guard/small forward Andrew Wiggins dropped 31 points Wednesday versus the Boston Celtics, while logging a season-high 43 minutes. With Robert Covington, Jeff Teague and Derrick Rose all out of action, Wiggins took the offensive initiative, finishing 10-for-18 from the floor. It was a quiet night elsewhere in his stat line -- three assists and two rebounds -- but it still likely stands as his best fantasy performance of the season by virtue of his scoring alone. He looks to continue his hot start to 2019 on Friday versus the Orlando Magic, whom he has scorched for 21 points per game over his first eight career match-ups.--Jesse Borek
