Zach LaVine Ties Season High With Five Made Threes
6 years agoChicago Bulls shooting guard Zach LaVine finished Friday’s overtime loss to the Indiana Pacers with 31 points, eclipsing the 30-point plateau for the first time since Nov. 5. LaVine has remained Chicago’s offensive focal point, averaging 23.5 points per game through Friday, but his 21 shot attempts against an elite defense such as Indiana’s is a strong indication of his attempts to re-assert himself. He draws a tough match-up next time out versus the Brooklyn Nets, who have held opposing shooting guards to the second-fewest fantasy points per game. LaVine has never faced Brooklyn as a member of the Bulls, having been absent from their previous four meetings.
