Jeff Teague Records Double-Double In Return To Lineup
6 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves point guard Jeff Teague had recorded double-doubles in back-to-back contests before a nine-game absence put his season on hold. He returned Friday versus the Orlando Magic and went for 23 points and 10 assists, giving him his third straight double-double. Make that five of the last six contests he has played that Teague has racked up double-digit assists, which has helped him to average 8.4 per game this year, on pace to be a new career high. Teague played 28 minutes Friday, but should Derrick Rose be sidelined Sunday versus the Los Angeles Lakers, it’s likely that Minnesota’s starting point guard could see an even bigger workload than usual.
