6 years agoSacramento Kings shooting guard Iman Shumpert will be absent from play Saturday versus the Golden State Warriors due to a sprained right index finger. Shumpert is coming off a scoreless outing on Thursday, and has shot 2-for-16 from deep over his last three contests. Without him in the fold, look for Justin Jackson to potentially see an uptick in minutes, but with the pace expected to be frenetic versus the Warriors, Shumpert’s absence opens the door for a handful of players to see more run. Shumpert’s next chance to return comes Monday versus the Orlando Magic.--Jesse Borek
