6 years agoMemphis Grizzlies power forward Jaren Jackson Jr. had an effective outing at both ends of the court on Saturday against San Antonio, scoring 17 points on 5-for-8 shooting with a 4-for-5 record from the line and grabbing four steals. He also picked up seven rebounds in 34 minutes on the floor. Backup power forward JaMychal Green was close to a double-double with eight points and 10 rebounds. The team has started to struggle, but Jackson Jr. seems to be gaining confidence with each passing week. It will be interesting to see how he handles Anthony Davis when the two match up on Monday. Jackson Jr. was trusted for only 15 minutes in the first meeting of the season.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
