6 years agoWashington Wizards small/power forward Otto Porter was said to be capped in the mid-20s for minutes Sunday versus the Oklahoma City Thunder, but that didn’t stop him from delivering a 20-point performance on 7-for-17 shooting off the bench. Porter made sure to get his shots up, finishing 4-for-6 from deep, delivering his largest scoring outing since Dec. 5. It wasn’t just his offensive output that made for a huge night, as he added six rebounds, five assists and three blocks for a staggering amount of output in just 24 minutes. Sunday is a solid indicator that Porter is nearing a return to full health and can likely be freely deployed Tuesday versus the Philadelphia 76ers.--Jesse Borek
